Savannah did really well Monday with her paci being "broken." We still have it around and she tries sucking on the dang thing then takes it out. While she was napping yesterday I cut a little bit more off and she woke up without the paci in her bed and suprisingly was not fussy. When I dropped her off at MiMi and PaPa's last night while Mommy had boot camp she walked in the door and said, "Look what Mommy did...it's broken." That just made me feel great...sarcastically saying. It was not until last night when she was going to bed she said, "Mommy, where is my paci?" I took it in her room, gave it to her and she just held onto it for dear life. It wasn’t long after hearing her singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and playing with everything that she had in bed with her that I only could hear the white noise and the music I play every night. So, I went in to check and she was still holding on to the paci.
She is with MiMi, Carrington and Logan today so she should have a good day of being busy playing with Carrington and giving Logan lots of kisses. I will try to give updates on the “Broken Paci” when ever possible.

I never would have thought of the "broken paci" idea. I think it's such a great idea. She still gets to hold it and know its there, which I am sure is way less stressful on her. I am sure it will only be a matter of time before she drops it and doesn't pick it up again. Good job Mommy!
